When love takes you in July 20, 2007

I know you’ve heard the stories
But they all sound too good to be true
You’ve heard about a place called home
But there doesn’t seem to be one for you
So one more night you cry yourself to sleep
And drift off to a distant dream

Where love takes you in and everything changes
A miracle starts with the beat of a heart
When love takes you home and says you belong here
The loneliness ends and a new life begins
When love takes you in

And somewhere while you’re sleeping
Someone else is dreaming too
Counting down the days until
They hold you close and say I love you
And like the rain that falls into the sea
In a moment what has been is lost in what will be

When love takes you in everything changes
A miracle starts with the beat of a heart

And this love will never let you go
There is nothing that could ever
cause this love to lose its hold

When love takes you in everything changes
A miracle starts with the beat of a heart
When love takes you home and says you belong here
The loneliness ends and a new life begins
When love takes you in it takes you in for good
When love takes you in

These are the lyrics to a truly beautiful song by Steven Curtis Chapman. Right now, this song is just so true in my life. Just at the right moment my Lord called on me and I was taken in by love. I was told “I love you” and I new this is where I belong.
I don’t deserve this love and my heart melts by the power of it. Love really does change everything.
Oh how I do love you.
I’m so thankfull.

Feeding the right wolf July 10, 2007

If you want to see a good movie, don’t watch Pathfinder!
I saw it a few days ago with my brother and sister in law. At first it seemed a bit too scary for me, as I get really easily scared by movies. But then, after a few minutes, we realised that this is a lousy movie! There where stereotype indians and vikings that looked like orchs with skulls and horns on their heads and they simply came to slaughter. They spoke some sort of wannabe-swedish, as if someone had said the lines in swedish and they tried to remember something of it. There where parts of scenes picked almost directly from Rambo, Cliffhanger and James Bond, any cool action movie acctually.
But see, there was this beautiful indian girl. And although this movie made me laugh hysterically beacause of how bad it was, she said something that had something to it.

Starfire: There are two wolves fighting in each man’s heart.
Starfire: One is Love, the other is Hate.
Ghost: Which one wins?
Starfire: The one you feed the most

I don’t know if it is love and hate fighting in our hearts, but there is a fight between some sort of good and evil going on. And it is up to us to decide which one wins. What will come out of my heart depends on what I feed it with. If I feed it with bitternes, that’s what my life will be like, if I feed it with joy, my life will be joyful. If I feed it with God, He will spring out from my heart into my life and the people around me.

What you give is what you get?
